2005 WORKSHOPS

WIDE AWAKE:
WRITING AS PERFORMANCE AS ACTIVISM
W/ANNE WALDMAN

We will write through some experiments of attention which involves work with dream, collaboration, abandonment of the ubiquitous, formal interventions, cut-up. Performance as imagination and changing the frequency.

THE CONFLUENCE OF THE ORAL AND WRITTEN LANGUAGE
W/ QUINCY TROUPE

June 21, 22, 2005 @ Art Gallery of Calgary
3 hours/ day $200

Each workshop will include a 30 min lecture and the reamining time will be spent giving individual attention to the students' works.

Each participant will have to submit no more than 3-5 pages (of reasonable length!! of course) in advance to Quincy, so that he'll have a chance to review & critique beforehand.
