“O for a Muse of fire,
that would ascend
The brightest heaven
of invention,
A kingdom for a
stage, princes to act
And monarchs to
behold the swelling

André Rodrigues

Nairobi-born, Fort McMurray-bred, and Calgary-buttered writer/filmmaker André Rodrigues spends a lot of time illpostured, hook spined, over his computer keyboard. Or. He spends his time, elbows on the table, hunching his nose in books, craning his neck like a pelican. Or. In his position as managing editor for dANDelion magazine, graduate student, member of the 3 Blind Mice, and maker of films, he contorts his body, so his four limbs appear as eight. Fortunately, he has a lot of support from friends and family, keeping his back for snapping, loosening up his limbs with libations and daily muscular contractions through rigourous laughter and, oh yes, dancing!
