Vivian Hansen

Vivian Hansen

Vivian Hansen's poetry has been published widely in Canadian journals. Her fi ction and nonfi ction has appeared in many anthologies, most recently in The Madwoman in the Academy. (University of Calgary Press, 2003). She has been the ghost-writer of four murder mysteries. Her chapbook of poetry Never Call It Bird: the Melodies of Aids came out in 1998. Her fi rst full-length book of poetry Leylines of My Flesh was published by Touchwood Press in 2002. In 2004, she published Angel Alley, a chapbook about the victims of Jack the Ripper. She is past-president of the Writers Guild of Alberta and the Society of Poets, Bards & Storytellers. She served as VP publishing and editor of Forum magazine, and is now the

editor of Freefall (Alexandra Writers Centre).
